Games To Watch - Week Four (9/22)

Cascia Hall Commandos (1-2) at Wagoner Bulldogs (3-0)

The Wagoner Bulldogs have won 40 straight games, only 2 shy of the state record held by the Ada Cougars (1993-1996). The Commandos were the last team to beat the Bulldogs, 21-17 on October 3, 2014. Wagoner has won two of the last three meetings, by a combined score of 65-35.  The Bulldogs squeaked by Ft. Gibson 27-21 in week three, while the Commandos were throttled 52-15 by 2A power Oklahoma City Millwood.



Mustang Broncos (2-1) at Owasso Rams (3-0)

The Bill Blankenship era at Owasso has begun with an electric start. The Rams are currently undefeated and have won there three games by a combined score of 153-51. The Broncos have won two of the last three meetings. These two teams are looking to overtake the District 6A-II 2 crown from Union. The winner of this game will have the upper hand.



Jay Bulldogs (3-1) at Inola Longhorns (2-2)

These teams will be looking to get the upper hand in District 3A-7. The Longhorns have won the last three meetings between these two teams by a combined score of 146-66. In their contest with similar opponent this season, Inola beat Verdigris 54-24 while Jay defeated them 40-13. 



Stigler Panthers (4-0) at Haskell Haymakers (4-0)

This matchup will see a high-powered offense going up against a tough defense. The Stigler offense is averaging 44 points per game while the Haskell defense is only giving up an average of 12 points. In last years meeting, the Panthers stomped the Haymakers 56-12. 


Game I Am Covering

Hulbert Riders (3-1) at Foyil Panthers (1-2)

Hulbert registered their first loss of the season, a 26-24 heartbreaker to the Haskell Haymakers. The Riders won last years meeting in blowout fashion, 61-6.
